Certificate of Christian Leadership

Overview

The shortest way into formal training at NCBC. The certificate is built for the person already serving — leading a small group, teaching children, helping run a service — who wants the ground under their feet to be firmer than instinct and good intentions.

What you'll study

• How to read and handle Scripture
• The foundations of Christian doctrine
• Leading and caring for a small group
• The shape and life of the local church

Where it leads

Graduates return to their assemblies better equipped for the work they were already doing. The thirty units also stand as the first step toward the Standard Ministerial Course.
